As a company, we strive to lead with our values and to support the success and sustainability of our customers so they can focus on their culinary pursuits.FULL TIME - HYBRID - BENEFITS INCLUDED (Medical, Dental, Vision, Pet & Legal Insurance)The Division Controller reports to the Region CFO, and is located in Landover, MD.POSITION SUMMARY: The Division Controller is responsible for partnering with the General Manager of the Adams-Burch Division of TriMark and reporting to the CFO, North Region to ensure the divisions performance targets and operational efficiencies are achieved. The Controller will be a hands-on yet strategic leader who is responsible for overseeing the accounting/finance department staff and performing all necessary fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance RequiredCPA and/or MBA preferred but not required10+ years of related Accounting and Finance experience with demonstrated progressionExperience with Microsoft suite of products with Intermediate to Advanced skills in ExcelExperience in a division of an organization preferredExcellent communication and leadership skillsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, develop, and report performance of the division including monthly results and forecasts, annual budget, and any long-range planning Strategic partnership with the General Manager in the development of the Companys plans and initiatives, including change managementDrive the annual budget process while providing visibility on profitability, efficiencies, and key operational metrics with consideration for any relevant business opportunities/strategiesContinuous improvement through enhancement, development, and implementation of processes and procedures throughout the organization that improve the overall operational effectiveness and financial profitability of the divisionPrepare monthly financial analysis to aid in understanding business activity and resultsCreate monthly reporting package for business reviews that includes financial statements with detailed reporting of key P&L drivers along with comprehensive explanations of variances Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within and outside the financial disciplineProvide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues in the evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergersBe an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Company may enterProvide department leadership, including hiring, training, and development of finance team membersEvaluate the team, plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on new/different opportunities where available. Motivate the team and foster an environment of teamwork, communication, and respect. Be a key leader on TriMark ABCH management team and be able to participate in meetings with the Executive Leadership Team by articulating the financial results with knowledge and professionalismPerform other related duties/special projects as required and assignedCOMPETENCIES:
