Our mission is to improve lives by driving better health, providing an exceptional experience, and Spreading the Smile.We're on the hunt for a talented Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing NCD's financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to inform decision-making. As a crucial member of our finance team, you should have a deep understanding of financial principles, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders.What You'll Do:Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.Support financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Participate in month-end close processes, including preparation and recording of journal entries in the financial system.Prepare detailed reconciliations for various accounts.Manage cash and maintain an effective cash management system.Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, providing support and insights as needed.Respond to ad hoc requests and generate custom reports as needed.Perform other typical responsibilities for a finance and accounting professional, ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.Must-Haves:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.Approximately 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience with accounting software and financial systems.Nice-to-Haves:CPA certification is a plus, but not required.Healthcare or insurance experience is a plus.Why You'll Love NCD:Company-paid health, dental, life, and disability insurance401(k) with employer matchOpportunities for professional growthWork-from-home allowance and supportA genuinely positive work environment50% remote work (or more!)Curious about what our employees think?
