Second Family, Inc. is now hiring for an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist processes and reports on accounts receivables, including reconciliation of A/R with aged trial balance (ATB). This person will also track and report on the attendance of the people we support in our program and assist with our annual audit process. This position also provides backup for payroll processing and assistance to our Chief Finance Officer (CFO).This position requires a BS in Accounting, knowledge of DDA systems, and at least 2 years of A/R experience. Experience with accounts payable and payroll is a plus. This position requires an experienced, independent professional who works well within a team environment.QualificationsA BS degree in accounting from a four-year college or university is requiredAt least two years of experience working in accounts receivable (A/R)Experience with accounts payable and payroll is a plusMust be able to communicate effectively with supervisor, peers, individuals, and familiesMust be able to deal with confidential information appropriatelyMust demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and conflict effectivelyResponsibilitiesProcesses and reports on accounts receivables (A/R)Reconciles A/R with aged trial balance (ATB)Tracks and reports on the attendance of the people supported in our programsProcesses food stamps applicationsAssists with annual audit processProvides backup for payroll processing and assistance to CFO
