About the Company and Opportunity: Our repeat client, a public
housing authority, has been assisting low income individuals in
Anne Arundel County for over 50 years. Due to growth, they are
looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! Company is

wonderful benefits Schedule: 100% in office in Glen Burnie, MD,
8-4:30pm , M-F, 37.5 hour work week Reports directly to the CFO Job
Duties: Reviews and balances the General Ledger; posts journal
entries to the General Ledger Assists in the establishment of SOPs
that are in accordance with GAAP Approves and prepares invoices for
payment Reviews and prepares accruals and statements Prepares and
maintains Capital Assets and Utility Consumption registers Compiles
materials for annual audit and performs internal audits as
necessary Prepares and maintains various accounting records for
monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Records all monetary
transactions Reconciles vendor statements and general ledger
accounts as necessary Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or related
field a plus 5 years of bookkeeping, general ledger, or other
relevant work experience required or any equivalent combination of
education and experience Experience working in public housing a
huge plus Experience using Yardi a plus Supervisory skills a plus
Highly proficient Excel skills CBFEB2024
