As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including account reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation. Overseeing and managing the general ledger. 2. Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. 3. Analyzing financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention. 4. Reviewing and improving financial statements and reports. 5. Ensuring all financial operations comply with federal and state laws. 6. Managing the full cycle of accounting activities for the company. 7. Assisting in the preparation and coordination of the audit process. 8. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a deep understanding of account reconciliation, general ledger, and financial statements. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel and a solid understanding of accounting software principles. 4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with different levels of management. 6. High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. 7. Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
