Staff Accountant - Growing Company/Exciting Industry About the Organization and Opportunity: Our client is a company headquartered in the Washington DC area They are looking bring on a Staff Accountant to be responsible for general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations for entities across the organization The organization is well-established and fosters a great sense of community The company values teamwork and flexibility They offer excellent benefits, including: 401K match, generous PTO and holidays and great medical coverage Overview of the Staff Accountant role: Perform monthly and quarterly accounting close, and assist with balance sheet reconciliations Manage and perform routine accounting functions such as journal entry preparation for revenue, AP, prepaid expenses and debt transactions Work with finance and operations group to provide ad-hoc accounting reports Provide support in preparing cash forecasts to analyze short and long-term liquidity requirements Preferred Qualifications for the Fund Accounting Manager: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related 1-2 years experience in audit or general ledger accounting CPA or CPA candidate preferred LI-KC4 INJUN2025 ZRCFS
