Job Description:
OverviewTo research, evaluate, analyze, design, implement, and
maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of
engineering principles. To develop and evaluate information, and
prepare recommendations based on analysis for use in decision
making. To support the respective ETS group's functions, projects,
and activities.ResponsibilitiesFull life-cycle project
managementEstablish and lead project teamsDevelop project
plan/scope/schedule/cost/communicationsProcure and/or manage
resources/timelines/deadlines/qualityRisk, Issue and Change
managementEnsure successful project implementationScope of
responsibilityApply engineering principles into the design and
enhancement of new and existing systemsEnsure the security and
integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with
Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security
principles and practicesPerform engineering tasks and assignments
in support of business needsPerform engineering technology
research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and
modified systemsPresent clear, organized and concise information to
all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective
business decisionsAnalyze functional, technical, and project
requirements to determine the most appropriate application testing
approachAbility to work in SAFe Agile methodology with product
teamWork with the business unit and product team to define
requirementsCreate effective test strategies, plans, and
scriptsPerform integration, regression, and functional testing on
changes/enhancementsSupport business unit through a testing
processAnalyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work
methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and
metrics/statisticsInterpret results of analysis; present
recommendations, including alternatives and implicationsCollaborate
with other business units to analyze and improve processing
procedures and resolve problemsAnalyze changes in policies,
procedures and products; determine the impact on the group
functionsIdentify and analyze opportunities for new and/or improved
processes, data, or technology; provide clear picture of possible
outcomesWork with peers, business units and/or project teams, and
vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented
and satisfiedMonitor and analyze key performance indicators, and
establish processes and methodologies for preventativeCompile,
review and prepare data to be used by analysts and management in
the analysis of operations, services and productsConduct
benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous
improvement and elevate service performanceAnalyze information to
produce analytically-driven inferences and hypotheses to generate
actionable recommendationsSolve business problems by defining the
problem, interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating
alternatives, and presenting findingsProvide input into best
practices for the respective areaEnsure compliance with Navy
Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practicesPerforms other
related duties as assignedQualificationsDemonstrated knowledge and
experience utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO), Application Lifecycle
Management (ALM), and other testing toolsExperience as a test lead
for the most complex and/or highly visible projectsExpert knowledge
of the planning and testing phases of Navy Federals systems
development life cycleAbility to represent CBTS in the highest
priority and complex project meetingsExperience performing
investigative, technical, or related system analysis on evident
and/or complex projectsExpert in system testing best
practicesExperience planning, prioritizing, and delegating tasks
for highly complex and/or visible projectsSignificant experience in
IT solution creation and delivery with increased business
intelligenceExperience working in cross-functional,
multi-dimensional teams and projectsExposure to leading, guiding &
mentoring othersAbility to work independently and in a team
