Responsibilities: • Work in a build center environment that facilitates and ensures the successful build, testing, packaging and disposition of Customer equipment. • Integrate and test systems so that they are ready for shipment on schedule and built in accordance with customers standards. • Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance which includes Juniper routers and encryptors, Cisco Routers, Switches • Upgrade and downgrade telecommunications devices by using various Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), File Transfer Protocols (FTP), and Terminal Emulator programs • Fabricate and CAT6 cables and other various data cables • Physically Rack mounting telecommunications equipment • Participate in overall integration of a total network including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN. • Contribute to creation of test booklets and evaluation of new equipment and systems. • Attend meetings associated with systems builds (i.e., TEM, IRR, EORB) Qualifications: Required Skills: • Possesses knowledge and experience in local and wide area networking, communications and related software and hardware, within a multi-platform operating environment. • Understand Inter-connect (IC)drawings or wiring schematics of the equipment and cables prior to integrations • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups • 5 year of experience • TS/SCI with Poly required Desired Skills • Knowledge of basic safety practices to included static grounding, emergency evacuation and first aid. • JNCIA, CCNA, COMPTIA Security , or other industry recognized certifications - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
