Job DescriptionDirector, Strategic PartnershipsLearner Facing, Campus-Based - Silver Spring, MD - Full TimeReports to: Managing Director, NCRLocation: Silver Spring, MDPer Scholas is seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships who will focus on cultivating a strong network of partners that will advance our mission and accelerate our growth in the Greater Washington region. The Director, Strategic Partnerships will lead all facets of external engagement and relationship management with key stakeholders that can contribute to NCR's pipeline of learners, primarily as a referral partner or hiring partner. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will supervise NCR's Recruitment and Admissions team members and collaborate closely with the Business Solutions team. Finally, this person will execute seamless professional engagements between Per Scholas and our partners.WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead local outreach and communications focused on cultivating new relationships and partnerships with employers, community organizations, government agencies, and philanthropic leaders;
  • Maintain regular communications with current and prospective referral and employer/hiring partners to enhance campus operations and KPIs;
  • Develop meaningful engagement opportunities between our partners and Per Scholas learners & alumni;
  • Partner with the Managing Director to build a strategic partnership management framework for the local market;
  • Monitor relevant KPIs to ensure partnerships are meeting goals and proactively address and escalate challenges;
  • Supervise campus Recruitment and Admissions team members
  • Collaborate across campus staff as relevant to coordinate partners' or other regional leaders' participation in informational and recruiting sessions;
  • Collaborate with the Business Solutions team to connect the volunteers from employer partners with local campus volunteer opportunities;
    • Represent the organization externally and participate in and cultivate thought leadership opportunities;
    • Support the Managing Director with engagement with the local Advisory Board and the broader workforce and tech ecosystem throughout the region;
    • Support fund development work through data tracking and analysis related to partnerships and assisting in relevant corporate and government philanthropic relationshipsWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO US:Professional Requirements
      • 5-7 years of demonstrated success in consultative relationship building and management, ideally related to information technology or workforce development locally
      • Minimum of 3 years supervising a team of at least X individuals
      • Experience establishing strategic frameworks and partnership agreements
      • Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (C-Level), operational managers as well as technical and non-technical staff
      • Experience using social media platforms for promotion, relationship generating and brand building purposes preferred
      • Knowledge and understanding of IT talent/workforce needs and future growth trends preferred
      • Knowledge of and connections within the employer landscape in the local community
      • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
      • Experience managing and analyzing data to inform strategies and tactics (ideally utilizing Salesforce)
      • Proficiency in Google Suite (preferred) or MS Office Suite
