You will support the Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS) which serves the Agency by initiating contracts, grants, inter-agency agreements (IAAs), cooperative agreements, and oversees the FDA's Government Purchase Card Program. You will be an important part of our mission to provide the Federal Government with vital services that help them complete their mission. You will oversee the development of task assignments for other project team members. You will also provide customer with the primary senior corporate point of contact and takes full responsibility to ensure that financial, time, scope, and quality expectations are met. You will also make the project visible to FDA management to ensure timely resolution of issues.More About the Role:As the Program Manager you will apply your talents to organize, direct, and manage acquisition support functions, involving multiple project tasks;manage teams of acquisition support personnel. In addition you will:maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization;meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items;ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs;represent the company in meetings with key stakeholders;oversee the development task order management plans (TOMP), and other documents related to scope;oversee project management personnel responsible for day-to-day delivery of services;make available all resources including project staffing requirements required to fulfill the needs of the project;oversee the development of task assignments for other project team members;provide customer with the primary senior corporate point of contact and takes full responsibility to ensure that financial, time, scope, and quality expectations are met; andmake project visible to FDA management to ensure timely resolution of issues.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Ten (10) years of experience in managing large and complex programs (i.e. IDIQ/BPA and task order requirements), of which five (5) years of experience is in managing the activities and staff for complex acquisition, financial, or business efforts;Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical, or business fields of study;Certified Project Management Professional (PMP); andExperience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Master's degree (for more senior positions);Experience with the Federal Government processes and requirementExperience working with teams; andEffective communication skill, both written and oral.**This position is in support of future opportunities.
