In this exciting and challenging role, the selected individual will help strategically integrate the NIS portfolio by leading a team of mission architects and mission analysts in execution of a portfolio that accelerates growth for the division. The selected candidate must be a dynamic self-starter who understands how the business is run, is comfortable speaking up, and is capable of influencing senior executive opinion.Acceptable locations for this role are: Northern Virginia, Baltimore, MD, and San Diego, CARoles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Create and implement vision for a new Mission Architecture organization inside NISD, including building the initial team and establishing process and cultureLead a high-performing team of mission architects and mission analystsWork with analytical organization across the sector, company, and key stakeholders to deliver impactful resultsEngage customers directly as an individual contributor and through allocation of engagement support responsibilities to team membersManage prioritization of architectural and analytical tasks by team members, including collaboration with other corporate teamsMaintain vision, process, and standards for analytical excellenceTrain and mentor new architects and analystsCommunicate process and results effectively to key internal and external stakeholdersBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 15+ years of work experience or Master's Degree and 10+ yearsExperience managing teams of mission analysts that deliver impactful resultsFamiliarity with analytical tools such as CAMEO, AFSIM, STK, and MATLABExperience in a strategy role or demonstrated ability to think strategicallyU.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience with agile methodologiesExperience with digital collaboration tools including Confluence and JiraSalary Range: $189,200 USD $297,200 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
