Job Purpose and Function

The Dash In Retail Area Manager (RAM) is a field operations management role that is responsible for the effective and efficient operations of a territory of 8-12 Franchise Operated facilities. - Within each Dash In operation, there are multiple revenue centers that include fuel sales, general merchandise sales, prepared food service, and car wash operations (in some stores). - The RAM will be responsible for collaborating with Franchise owners to execute the Dash In Brand Standards that include site level cleanliness, in-stock conditions, food service excellence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences that align with the brand. - -

Ultimately, the RAM will deliver sales and profitability growth, improve guest satisfaction, build strong relationships with team members and Franchise owners, and provide expert business counseling to achieve the business goals of Dash In and the Franchise owner.How You'll Make an Impact

  • Ensures all Dash In Brand Standards are being continually met; that includes site cleanliness, in-stock position, excellence in foodservice delivery, and engaging associates delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with Franchise owners on key business topics and initiatives, with support departments that includes Category Management, IT, and Accounting, and upline to the Sr. Regional Operations Manager with performance updates and follow-ups
  • Provides expert business counseling to Franchise owners that includes ways to grow sales, profitability, control expenses and losses, and help improve bottom-line profitability.
  • Is effective in achieving performance standards on Foodservice safety and ticket times, excelling in compliance shops and 3rd party inspections.
  • Drives sales and profit growth by ensuring execution of the brand strategy.
  • Ensures Franchise Owners maintain a well-staffed and trained team that will deliver engaging guest interactions and experiences.
  • Is an effective steward of the site level capital improvements, always ensuring proper maintenance and repair of the facilities.
  • Nurtures a culture of collaboration with Franchise owners that breeds Franchisee engagement, enthusiasm, and positive interactions. - This leads to a customer-first culture in the store environments. -What We're Looking For -
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; alternatively, equivalent progressive experience. -
    • 5+ years of retail industry and/or food service experience.
    • 2+ years of experience in multi-unit leadership, successfully leading a team.
    • Experience with franchise model and field-based franchisee consulting/management.
    • Valid driver's license, favorable driving record, and the ability to travel throughout assigned region multiple days per week to visit assigned sites (currently includes Eastern Shore, Edgewater, Baltimore, Upper Marlboro sites); ability to travel overnight occasionally on as-needed basis. -Ideal candidates will also have:
