Customer Resiliency is where excellence meets empathy - with human-centric approaches and analytical rigor, we generate value for our business and help our struggling customers succeed. -As a Product Leader within Customer Resiliency, you will play a lead role in developing strategy and vision to build the next generation of capabilities that will enable success for our customers impacted by hardships. As a Product Manager in CR, you will need to dig in on understanding the customer experience - identifying, scoping and developing products and capabilities to meet internal and external customer's needs. Experience with consumer market research techniques, emerging technologies, familiarity with customer-centric design thinking principles, along with comfort analyzing data to understand customer behavior will be important in this role, given the size and criticality of the greater work we lead in Customer resiliency.As a Product Manager with the CR team, you:

  • Will lead the work, moving from concepts to prototypes and prototypes to scalable solutions - shaping the overall Card customer experience and enablement of Capital One's platform ecosystem through seeking and applying insights from dependent platforms, apps, and segments
  • Have experience working in cross-functional product teams to deliver a consumer-focused product -
  • Are experienced in human-centered product discovery methods such as design thinking and service design -
  • Bring a blend of strategic and tactical thinking, creative and analytical reasoning. Strong quantitative background to support data-informed decision making, paired with creative, outside-the-box thinking and problem-solving approach
  • Hold a track record of defining strategy, creating advocacy/alignment and being accountable for outcomes- with a deep understanding of how technology works and how it can be leveraged to solve problems
  • Develop and nurture stakeholder relationships, navigating and influencing the organization
  • Partner with and lead a team, delivering best in class products - working hand-in-hand with development teams that are your solutioning and delivery partners, as you bring the roadmap to life and value to fruition
  • Experience weaving together user benefits, business strategy and technology into a comprehensive platform capability strategy (strategy, execution plan, metrics for success) -
  • Have the ability to collaborate closely with architects, designers and engineers to create platform products -
  • Are adept at applying Agile development philosophy and practices to deliver top-tier delivery transparency, efficiency, and flexibility
  • Tell an amazing story! Evangelizing value, effective executive summaries, and strong communication throughout the product process to drive a project forward -In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas
    • Human Centered -
      • You'll define clear and actionable problem statements to help teams deliver results while displaying a comprehensive understanding of iterative software delivery, capable of thin-slice MVP grooming
      • You'll leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development while advocating for and driving alignment between stakeholders in the development of acceptance criteria
      • You'll obsess over UX/UI patterns and seek to create world class, omni-channel experiences
        • Business Focused -
          • You'll own and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, quickly identifying points of leverage in complex problems or systems, and utilizing data effectively to define success metrics and measurable outcomes
          • You'll utilize balanced judgment in decisions about risks of both actions taken and not taken while innovating on ways to iterate faster in a well-managed way for the immediate team
            • Technology Driven
              • You'll understand and leverage technology and end-state architecture vision to partner with technology team to drive comprehensive design decisions out of white space technical problems
              • You'll share business strategy and roadmap with Tech partners to establish context while also leading and facilitating agile ceremonies alongside Tech Lead
              • You'll deliver value by creating reusable, extensible and resilient capabilities and proactively identify opportunities when key metrics on security, resilience and performance are not performing -

                • You'll develop and communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams with accurate details and transparency on risks and impediments, and proactively build relationships with those outside of your immediate team resulting in horizontal influence -

                    • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
                    • At least 3 year of product management experience or at least 3 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering - -Preferred Qualifications:
                      • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
                      • MBA or Master's degree
