Job Description:

Manager . GDIT is seeking to fill a Program Manager position for
the staff and customers of the WRAIR in support of the Medical
Standards Analytics and Research (MSAR) and Statistics and
Epidemiology Branch Research Programs. The position is located at
Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Silver Springs,
MD.

HOW A PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Serves as the contractor's single contract manager and shall be the
contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting
Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR),
government management personnel and customer agency
representatives.
Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning
contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising
contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and
goals of the organization to subordinates.
Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show
progress to corporate management and clients.
Ensures conformity to all contractual obligations.
Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports.
Manages execution of the contract and tasks, evaluates problems,
organizes workflow, plans, develops, and supervises execution of
appropriate analytical approaches.
Maintains client contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual
obligations.
Ensures the development, maintenance, and implementation of work
order management plans, a document which guides the performance of
all functional activities performed in various task areas.
Evaluates problems, manage workflow, and organize, plan, develop,
and supervise execution of appropriate analytical approaches.
May travel to meetings and conferences when necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health. Preferred: Master's degree in
Public Health, Epidemiology.
Five (5) years of experience independently performing and
supervising analysis of military epidemiologic studies using SAS
programming. Preferred: Ten (10) years of postgraduate experience
independently performing and supervising analysis of military
epidemiologic studies using SAS programming
Possesses expert level (recognized authority - based on NIH
proficiency scale) proficiency.
Experienced in advanced epidemiologic study design and analyses of
computerized datasets. Strong computer skills in using SAS,
Epi-info, and graphical packages.
Five (5) year's years' experience in the independent performance
and supervision of epidemiologic study design, analytics, database
curation, statistical analysis of military datasets. Preferred: 10
years' experience in the independent performance and supervision of
epidemiologic study design, analytics, database curation,
statistical analysis of military datasets, to include accession
medical disqualifications and waivers, personnel, healthcare and
disability data using advanced SAS programing and modeling,
utilizing macros, arrays and other automatic approaches for support
of MSAR mission.
Expert in and experienced with the development and delivery of high
visibility analytical/statistical reports, interactive dashboards,
oral/visual presentations to professional groups, prompt responses
to RFIs from DOD Leadership, publication of manuscripts in peer
reviewed scientific journals and other highly accurate publishable
quality knowledge product. Demonstrates excellent writing skills
via a list of published articles.
Ability to develop and deliver department analytical reports and
give oral/visual presentations to professional groups.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to secure a Public Trust Clearance- Automated Data
Processing Level II (ADP-II)/National Agency Check with Law and
Credit (NACLC).
