Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Safety Manager for their manufacturing facility near the Alexandria, VA area.Responsibilities:*Oversee all aspects of the safety program in the plant*Ensure all safety procedures are being followed*Manage all Safety systems systems, processes, and associated vendors*Conducts audits and prepares applicable reports*Reports to the regional EHS DirectorQualifications:*BA/BS from an accredited college or university is required*5+ years Safety management experience in a manufacturing plant*Strong background in food/beverage manufacturing preferred, but not required*Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, and EPA regulation*Strong background driving a Safety first culture within a manufacturing settingUI 676862
