Active Top Secret (TS) What You Will Do :--- The project manager analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and other solution componentsThe project managers:
* Leads team on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects.
* Facilitates the strategic management process and provides consulting expertise and project management for specific strategic initiatives that are deemed high risk or critical to success of the client organization.
* Provides applications systems analysis and programming activities for multiple Government sites and/or facilities.
* Oversees all aspects of projects, including the preparation of long and short-range plans for necessary support resources.
* Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelinesReports status and variancesCreates action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
* Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
* Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, and secure customer approvalsAssesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and riskWhat You Will Need :--- An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET federal security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree; Education requirement may be waived if the candidate has ten (10) or more years of experience.
* Five (5) years of experience or more in:
* Managing all facets of project management, such as budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality, and risk
