founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch
organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by
bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight
retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale
business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery
stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year. Our mission

Director of Training & Team DevelopmentLocation: Primarily
field-based across DC, Maryland & Virginia (70-80%); 20-30% based
in Rockville and Germantown, MDSalary: $100,000 - $120,000 -

DMV.Your MissionWe're looking for a business-minded,
execution-driven Director of Training & Team Development to design
and deliver the training systems that power Fresh Baguette's
growth. Your role will be to build scalable, cross-functional
programs that prepare our teams to open new bakeries, and to run
our operations with excellence. You'll drive real business impact
by making sure every team member - from retail to production to
Sanitation to logistics - is ready to perform from day one.What
You'll OwnBuild & Scale Our Training Infrastructure- Design and
launch a company-wide training strategy that enables scalable
growth across all departments - retail, production, logistics,
sanitation, and corporate.- Create unified frameworks for
onboarding, SOPs, and certification while allowing flexibility for
department-specific needs.- Partner with leaders across departments
to assess skill gaps and prioritize workforce development
efforts.Deliver Business-Critical Learning Programs- Build training
paths that prepare front-line employees and managers to deliver
Fresh Baguette standards at scale.- Implement a blended learning
model using in-store coaching, structured classes, and digital
modules.- Ensure training and certifications are not just created,
but executed in the field and tracked through completion.Develop &
Mobilize Internal Talent- Equip store and department managers with
tools to train effectively and confidently.- Build leadership
development programs to grow high-potential team members into
management roles.Drive Performance & Accountability- Define success
metrics to track training impact on store performance, speed to
productivity, and team engagement.- Continuously optimize training
content based on feedback, outcomes, and business goals.- Foster a
culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.What
You Bring- 5+ years in a training leadership role within a
multi-site, fast-paced environment (hospitality or food industry
preferred).- Proven success building training programs from the
ground up.- Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership
skills.- Excellent communication, facilitation, and project
management abilities.- Hands-on, field-oriented approach - you're
as comfortable coaching in a bakery as you are presenting in a
boardroom.- Proficiency in LMS platforms or training tools a plus.-
Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Business or related field
is a plus.Logistics & Requirements- Frequent travel across Fresh
Baguette locations (70-80% field-based).- Open availability,
including occasional weekends and holidays.- Valid driver's license
and reliable transportation.- Authorized to work in the U.S.Why
