White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Clinical Administrator, Registered Nurse (RN) for our Nursing Administration department who embraces our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Clinical Administrator you will:

* Models & encourages professional practice that includes nurse autonomy, authority, accountability and responsibility within their unit.
* Operationalizes the strategic plan for the Nursing Administration department and the hospital.
* Establishes expectations for staff and appropriately provides resources for care and is a resource to nurses and others in the department and organization.
* Demonstrates effective communication, conflict resolution, team building, and leadership skills, acting as the patient representative during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
* Ensures that all infection control precautions and procedures are followed in the nursing department.
* Conducts daily bed huddles in Nursing Administration with nursing and bed-control staff to provide an overview of the current status of the hospital including admissions, surgeries, transfers, and discharges to facilitate throughput.
* Investigates and assists in the resolution of significant events such as: near misses; adverse events; patient/family complaints; and, any situation that affects the safe delivery of patient-centered care in a timely manner.

Qualifications include:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science

degree required, Bachelor's Degree required, MSN preferred.

* Valid Maryland RN license required
* Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification required
* Five years of experience or related acute care experience, and 2 years Leadership experience required

Work Schedule:
