Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Washington,

Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: 900 23rd Street NW
Washington DC USA 20037 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8hours days 7:30
AM to 4 PM (M-F) Description: Under the direct supervision of the
Radiologist and the Department Manager, the technologist delivers
nuclear medicine testing to patients of all age groups. The
technologist utilizes equipment and technique to assist in
diagnosis or treatment. Performs diagnostic nuclear imaging and
other related imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy
for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed
practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of
services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions
essential for successful completion of the procedure. The Nuclear
Medicine technologist will maintain all necessary documentation and
records as required by the State of Florida HRS as it relates to
the Radioactive Materials license of this facility. This individual
is also responsible for appropriate radiation safety practices.
Required: AHA Healthcare provider BLS Infection Control
Professional Certification Proficient computer skills Current State
license Current ARRT (NM) or CNMT 1 year experience, CNMT
(certified Nuc Med Technologist) and SCQRSA registration for Nuc
