Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2.5 to 3 years of experience in PICU. License: Valid state license required prior to start date. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Must be able to rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks. Description: The facility may consider rotating shifts of 4x12. Overtime will be billed after 48 hours for contracts involving 4x12 shifts. All requests for time off (RTO) must be confirmed prior to submission, as changes cannot be made after that. Candidates with any background or license issues will not be accepted. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers will rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks, though straight shifts may be accommodated based on schedule needs. Every other weekend and holiday is required. Clinicians may float within their scope to other critical care units as needed. Block scheduling is not open to accommodation, though exceptions may be made for specific weekend arrangements. Travelers are required to have proof of license pending if a pending license is submitted for consideration. The facility is a non-smoking environment with zero tolerance for violations. All submissions will be reviewed by the clinical team. References are strongly preferred and must be available upon request. Compliance documentation is due Monday prior to the anticipated start date. A current photo is required upon acceptance, adhering to specified guidelines.
