Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health

BLS (AHA) - Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have:
- Experience with IABP and IVUS Description: The Cath Lab team
operates in a dynamic environment with a focus on cardiovascular
procedures. The unit features 7 suites and 2 cath labs with a range
of procedures conducted daily. On average, the team handles 4 to 5
cases per day, with some days seeing as few as 2 and others as many
as 9 cases. Techs will rotate through shifts, typically 4 days a
week, working alongside RN's in a collaborative setting. Call
coverage is required, with an average of 10 call shifts per month.
Procedures are primarily adult cardiac cases, including
percutaneous procedures, devices, and other related interventions.
Weekend coverage is expected and will follow the same schedule as
weekdays. The team is supported by a resource nurse to facilitate
patient flow and assignments for the day. All required scrubs are
provided for the staff. The work environment includes a blend of
interventional radiology and cardiac cases, fostering a flexible
learning atmosphere. Candidates should be familiar with relevant
technologies and possess a commitment to patient care and safety.
The facility is equipped with a 24/7 pharmacy and dedicated staff
for emergency support. This role requires the ability to work
collaboratively within a team and respond effectively to changing
demands. Required certifications and licenses must be current and
valid throughout the duration of the assignment. This position
provides an opportunity to further develop skills in a high-acuity
setting while contributing to patient outcomes.
