Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years with 1 prior travel assignment License: Valid state license required Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE, NRP, BLS Must-Have: Must register for C-EFM during the compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment. Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse needed for night shifts. The nurse will work a 1:2 patient ratio. Weekend and holiday coverage required every other weekend/holiday as needed. The nurse will be required to float to similar units. Travelers will float before permanent staff members. A high-risk labor and delivery experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience in circulating, fetal heart monitoring, and triage. Strong preceptor and/or charge experience is required. Scrubs will be provided. Charting will be done using specific software. References are required from two supervisors. No exemptions for the flu vaccine will be accepted. RTO must be specified in advance and cannot exceed 7 days for the contract duration. Local candidates will need to meet specific distance requirements.
