be considered. A healthcare facility in Arlington, TX, is seeking a
Registered Nurse with Stepdown Unit experience for a contract
position. This role requires proficiency in managing patients who
are transitioning from intensive care but still require close
monitoring. Candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS
certifications to ensure readiness for critical care situations
within the transplant-specific progressive care unit. Key
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in
the stepdown unit, focusing on transplant and progressive care
patient needs Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and
responding to changes promptly Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer
medications and treatments according to established protocols
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and
assessments Desired Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license Experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit,
preferably with transplant patients Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong
critical thinking and communication skills Ability to work in a
