Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and
home-based patient care, is excited to offer a Nurse Residency
position designed for recent nursing graduates and RNs looking to
specialize in rehabilitation and acute patient care. Our program
aims to bridge the gap between academic training and real-world
clinical practice, equipping new nurses with the skills and
confidence required for a successful career in nursing. This Nurse
Residency program blends expert clinical instruction, a variety of
patient care experiences, and supportive mentorship in the dynamic
setting of rehabilitation and acute care. Deliver high-quality
patient care under the supervision of experienced nursing staff.
Participate in all phases of the nursing process, including
assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Engage in
hands-on clinical training sessions and educational workshops to
enhance nursing knowledge and skills. Maintain accurate patient
records and participate in discussions regarding patient care
plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate
holistic care for patients. Adhere to all hospital regulations and
safety standards. Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and
care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Adaptability to
diverse healthcare settings Capacity to manage time effectively and
prioritize patient needs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
