Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a
part-time contract position in Fairfax, VA, supporting an
elementary school setting. This role is ideal for a dedicated
professional with an active Virginia SLP license who is passionate
about making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 30
students, providing targeted speech and language therapy services,
and collaborating closely with educators and families to support
individualized education plans. The position requires working two
days per week, totaling 16 hours, from ASAP through the end of the
school year. Key Qualifications: Active Virginia SLP license
Experience working with pediatric populations in school
environments Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability
to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 30 students
Familiarity with educational protocols and individualized support
plans Location: Fairfax, Virginia (North End Elementary School)
