ChristianaCare seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join the Per Diem staff at the Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital. In this role, you will deliver expert care that supports our mission to advance the health and well-being of our community. As a member of one of Delaware's premier health systems, you will utilize the latest in technology and techniques to treat patients with various conditions in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment. This role requires a passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Assess patient condition by conducting physical examinations and obtaining medical histories Formulate treatment plans to address the needs of rehabilitation patients Implement physical therapy interventions as prescribed by a physician Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential Guide and mentor physical therapy assistants and aides by explaining interventions and monitoring their practices Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in physical therapy software and equipment In-depth understanding of physical therapy principles, theories, and practices Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Delaware CPR certified
