Job Description Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Opportunity
in Baltimore, MD Position OverviewAn established and academically
oriented rehabilitation program in Baltimore, MD is seeking a
General Physiatrist (PM&R) to join its expanding outpatient
team. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse
patient population while contributing to education, research, and
clinical excellence in the field of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. Assignment DetailsPosition Type: Full-time,
employed Setting: 100% outpatient with limited inpatient call
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Team Structure:
Collaborative group of 14 board-certified physiatrists with
subspecialties in brain injury, spinal cord injury, pain medicine,
and electrodiagnostic medicine Academic Role: - Opportunity for a
faculty appointment through an affiliated medical university -
Teaching responsibilities with an ACGME-accredited residency
program (12 residents total) - Participation in research encouraged
through an established clinical research division Procedures &
Clinical Scope: - Musculoskeletal medicine and peripheral joint
injections - Ultrasound-guided procedures - Pain management and
spasticity treatment - Electrodiagnostic studies - Concussion and
cancer rehabilitation - Toxin injections and workers’ compensation
evaluations RequirementsMD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation (PM&R) Eligibility for Maryland medical license
and DEA registration Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to academic participation, resident teaching, and
program development Inpatient call coverage required on a limited
basis (residents take in-house call) Not an interventional spine
