Details - Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit, department 6200, in a hospital setting - Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) - Cerner EMR experience required - 13-week contract Requirements - Active DC RN license required; no pending licenses accepted - Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a US hospital - Minimum 2 years of clinical supervisor experience required - Telemetry experience required - Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS - CPI certification required - BSN highly desired; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required - Cerner EMR experience required - US Social Security Number required - Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer - Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information - Provides shift-to-shift oversight of clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and resource utilization for daily operations - Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patients served in a competent, caring, and efficient manner - Role models organizational values and leads or participates in department process improvement initiatives - Facilitates employee engagement activities, including professional and shared governance participation - Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates - All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) American Traveler Job ID P-690261.
