Job Description:
Job Description Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Technical System
Engineer - Skill Level 2 to join an existing DevOps team that is
working to build out a Kubernetes environment to host ANSWERLAKE
services across multiple platforms. Qualifications Fourteen (14)
years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar
scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college
or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE
experience on projects with similar software processes may be
substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Required Skills Experience
with Linux CLI. Experience with building out Kubernetes
infrastructure including configuring network policies within a
cluster. Experience with system sustainment and compliance
including system patching and SSP management. Experience with
corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures.
Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.).
Desired Skills Understanding of or experience with tools such as
Terraform, Salt, and Ansible. Understanding of or experience with
tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm. Understanding of or
experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards. Understanding
of or experience with Grafana dashboards. Security certification
(CWIP). Pay & Benefit Highlights Compensation Above market fixed
