Job Description:
Commercial Solutions for Classified Solutions Architect The
Opportunity: You’ll define the architectures that connect missions,
teams, and technology across the defense enterprise. This is a role
for a systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of
engineering, communication, and strategy—someone who can translate
a mission challenge into a secure, executable design and see it
through from concept to delivery. You’ll partner with senior
leaders to modernize mission systems, craft technical roadmaps, and
guide multi-disciplinary teams through implementation. Your
diagrams will become reality, including integrated infrastructures,
hardened enclaves, and repeatable design patterns that drive secure
operations. You’ll lead technical solutioning for new engagements,
articulate value in executive briefings, and mentor engineers
building the next generation of resilient, interoperable systems.
When architecture and execution align, missions move faster, safer,
and smarter – and you’ll be the one making that alignment happen.
What You'll Work On: Architect and oversee enterprise and
mission-system solutions spanning infrastructure, networking, and
cybersecurity domains. Lead stakeholder workshops, technical
interchange meetings, and executive briefings that turn complex
requirements into clear direction. Produce and maintain
architecture artifacts, decision records, and integration plans
that anchor delivery and compliance. Guide teams through
modernization efforts, including Zero Trust adoption, cross-domain
integration, and IL5 or IL6 deployments. Shape technical solutions
for new pursuits, including writing proposal architectures, cost
trade-offs, and implementation strategies. Coordinate delivery
execution across engineers, developers, and subcontractors to
ensure the architecture intent is realized. Embed security and
compliance from the start using STIG, RMF, and NIST 800-53/171

experience in creating solution architectures, roadmaps, and design
documentation across multiple domains ? Experience with leading
stakeholder and executive engagements and driving consensus on
technical direction and delivery priorities ? Experience with
program and delivery oversight, coordinating schedules, managing
risk, and validating outcomes Knowledge of infrastructure and
networking integration, data flows, segmentation, and inter-system
connectivity Top Secret clearance HS diploma or GED IAT Level II
Certification such as CompTIA Security Certification Nice If You
Have: 8 years of experience leading or supporting enterprise or
mission-system architecture within defense, intelligence, or
federal programs Experience designing, implementing and maintain
ing enterprise Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) solutions
Experience maintain ing enterprise VoIP and UC environments such as
Cisco CUCM, Unity, Expressway, Jabber or Webex, and Cisco or Ribbon
SBCs Experience with wireless QoS, voice roaming optimization, and
integration with Cisco or Aruba WLANs Experience developing
enterprise modernization roadmaps, cloud migration strategies, or
Zero Trust frameworks Experience managing cross-functional delivery
teams through the design and implementation cycle Ability to
interpret logs, CDRs, traces, and packet captures using tools, such
as RTMT and Wireshark, influence architecture, and build
stakeholder consensus Possession of excellent communication and
negotiation skills Bachelor's degree Cisco CCNP Collaboration,
Collaboration Core (CLCOR), or Collaboration Applications (CLICA)

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual’s particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to
$225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting
