Overview

The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for sourcing quality candidates to meet the needs of the organization. The incumbent will participate in the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting and sourcing to selection, and collaborate with hiring managers and the HR department to gain an understanding of the best-fit applicants for the organization. Identifies and implements recruitment strategies to develop strong pipelines of qualified, diverse candidate pools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruiting process from candidate sourcing through identification, interviewing, selection, negotiation and close
  • Develops and executes effective and efficient recruitment and sourcing strategies to identify a qualified and diverse candidate pool from which a hiring decision can be made in an expedient and compliant manner
  • Propose, execute, and monitor methods to increase the quality and number of applications, including new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Collaborates with Hiring Managers to determine position specifications, pre-screening questions, interview questions, and solve staffing challenges
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against well-defined criteria
  • Post openings and leverage social and professional networking platforms to identify and source candidates
  • Aggressively and creatively sources candidates through job boards, subscription databases, cold calling, job fairs, networking, referrals, and other creative candidate sourcing strategies
  • Sources, networks, and actively builds relationships to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates effectively meets hiring needs
  • Track and record key metrics designed to measure the effectiveness of recruitment processes
  • Create and deliver training on candidate attraction, interviewing techniques, and hiring strategies
  • Documents internal processes and procedures
  • Train hiring managers on the applicant tracking system the recruitment process
  • Sets expectations with client groups to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Build a pipeline of promising candidates and maintain regular contact for future positions
  • Represent Altarum at recruiting events (virtually and onsite), providing potential candidates information regarding Altarum business, facts, and current events
  • Partner with hiring managers to analyze current and future staffing needs within their departments
  • Accurately tracks and reports on recruiting activities by meticulously updating the Applicant Tracking System. Provide additional reporting or metrics as requested
  • Maintains recruiting documentation required for OFCCP compliance and all phases of recruiting process are conducted in accordance with Altarum's legal, ethical, and best practice standards
  • Maintain all records of pertinent applicant and interview data
  • Contributes to special projects as required
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Experience in lieu of education will be considered
  • 5-8 years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • 1+ years' experience performing advanced Boolean searching
  • Previous experience recruiting for and building candidate pipeline
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility, able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • At this time we will only accept candidates who are presently eligible to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship
