Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) Network Coordinating Center (NCC) has
supported public health research at SSS for over 30 years.
This large research network is sponsored by NIH-NIAID-DAIDS to
implement clinical trial research in infectious disease both
domestically and internationally. The NCC staff provide
administrative, scientific and executive committee support, and
technical and scientific study support. The Research Assistant
III position has the opportunity to assist and work closely with
other scientific and technical staff.
Assistant III is responsible for the day-to-day office functioning
by handling a variety of general administrative and technical
duties including supporting the Clinical Trials Specialists and
network Subcommittees/Working Groups, word processing assistance,
arranging teleconferences, and drafting agendas, summaries, and

- Assists with
information management including organization of electronic files;
updates on project website for membership rosters, and resource
documents; maintenance of email distribution lists; and resolving

conference calls and face-to-face/virtual meetings including
solicitation of agenda topics and distribution of agenda in a
timely manner and tracking and facilitating completion of action
