ICON Government and Public Health specializes in preclinical through phase IV support of clinical research and clinical trial services for biologics, drugs, and devices.   • Serves as SME for TBI education and training activities, including clinical grand rounds, annual healthcare provider training and other events.
  • Assist in the development of planning, designing, managing and carrying out actions to accomplish assigned program areas.
  • Provides input during strategic planning for TBI clinical education and training programs and activities.
  • Interfaces with DoD/VA/DVBIC/DHA leaders and external partners to manage requests and provide input in response to taskers related to TBI.
  • Conducts briefings within and outside of DVBIC/DoD/VA/DHA on matters related to TBI as requested/directed.
  • Serves as a technical advisor for TBI education and training program development, administration and evaluation.
  • Provides input in the formulation and establishment of policy and objectives related to TBI education and training activities.
  • Provides expert advice on program requirements and procedures to Armed Forces requiring such programs.

Non Primary Responsibilities:

  • Other duties consistent with the above responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Laboratory/office environment; may require working evenings and weekends. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Work may involve long periods of standing and handling of numerous chemicals and/or hazardous biological material. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
