Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you understand the need for Government organizations to be on the forefront with their strategies that directly support the mission of the National Security space. You are known for your attention to detail, efficient execution, and educating current and new customers on the importance of conducting assessments and providing recommendations to align strategy to mission and improve internal processes that affect the warfighter. You love conducting assessments by coordinating with stakeholders across organizations, and leveraging their data to gain new insights on how mission is being performed. You are also eager to expand your skillset and grow the team.

As an Senior Consultant in our National Security Segment, you will work with client-facing consulting teams to solve some of the most complex modernization challenges organizations face. Your projects will vary with client needs and will include coordinating with several mission offices across the organization, understanding and communicating large data sets, and aligning inputs to the organization's strategy.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Build and validate accurate and complete cost models, estimates, and risk analyses
  • Knowledge of Army G2 ISR mission, organization, collection, and production responsibilities, as well as IC administrative policies, procedures, and authorities
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders
  • Ability to model the financial impacts of U.S. Army basing and personnel changes
  • Experience in large scale organizational transformation activities, to include documenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and brief senior leadership effectively and successfully on data, metrics, processes, and goals and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrated research, planning, analytical (quantitative analysis) and organization skills while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software
  • Adept at learning the client business, creating internal partnerships, fostering collaboration, and recommending strategies that fit the client culture and business model
  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills Qualifications

    The following qualifications are required to be considered for this role:
    • An ACTIVE AND CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
    • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a quantitative field
    • Demonstrated experience developing life cycle cost estimates utilizing various methodologies
    • Demonstrated experience in data collection and analysis The following skills/knowledge/experience are preferred for this role:
      • Bachelor's degree with quantitative analytic focus.
      • Certification in cost analysis field (i.e. - Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) or similar).
      • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and configuration of cost-estimating relationships, models, tools and methodologies.
      • Experience with financial modeling software.
      • Experience with Army G2 ISR platforms, training pipeline and basing strategy
      • Experience developing mission and process assessments and rcommendations advance strategic objectives
      • Adept at building quality PowerPoint presentations to communicate with executive leadership
      • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Competent in diagnosing individual and organizational performance improvement needs, matching intervention methodology with needs, and determining the appropriate development measures
      • Possesses strong analytical skills, good listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others; must be able to lead by influence
      • Exhibits effective team/collaboration skills
      • Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis
