Job DescriptionJob BriefASRC Federal is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to, under general direction but minimal supervision, perform quality reviews of departmental operations at department and individual levels to measure performance against contract regulation, program policy and procedure. Quality Control Specialist are responsible for applying the principles and practices of quality assurance. To succeed in this role, the individual should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders across the organization.ResponsibilitiesReview group and individual outputs on a scheduled and random basis to ensure proper procedures are followed. Plan and implement methods for process improvement and trouble-shooting technical issues.Create and evaluate corrective action reportsInterface with internal/external customers to resolve quality issues.Participate and lead in process evaluationsEnsure quality management and delivery of AQLsDevelop quality control plans using experience, lessons learned, proven processes, and industry best practices, technologies, and methodologiesProvide independent, proactive surveillance and inspection of call center and deskside support operationsDevelop methods of procedure (e.g., checklists, SOPs, etc.)Detect performance that falls outside of acceptable quality limits through in-process quality control steps, customer feedback, and analysis of performance metrics trendsInvestigate the causes of non-conformance and guide resolution effortsDevelop, implement, and measure the results of effective process correctionsContinuously improve standard processesUse automated tools to collect performance data, analyze trends, and identify anomalies in performanceIdentify and research inefficiencies or inaccuracies in departmental methods and procedures. Propose and implement procedural/systems solutions to meet needs and improve overall performance. Determine related training needs and provides training to internal staff. Gather and analyze quality statistics to determine trends and document findings for managementOther duties related, as requiredRequirementsJob Specific Required Skills and Qualifications: Must have Associate Degree Must have 3-5 years of experience in software development, quality assurance control Must have knowledge and experience of customer service practices/quality management best practices.
