You Will Do: -As an Oracle EBS Federal Financials Consultant,
you'll help manage the design and implementation of solutions; data
analysis work streams on system implementations, operations and
maintenance, and business process reengineering projects. The
nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires
self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on
their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Our
professionals help our clients transform their business processes,
improve internal controls, improve the efficiency of operations,
increase transparency and performance management, and comply with
Federal laws and regulations. Project members are provided the
opportunity to interact with our client's senior management and
enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business
development, client service, and people development.The successful
candidate will have proven experience supporting Oracle Federal
Financials implementations for federal agencies. The candidate will
provide oversight and be accountable for quality of services and
deliverables. The candidate will also provide process improvement
recommendations and support implementation into the financial
system. With a minimum of five or more years' experience, the
successful candidate is required to have experience in Federal
Financials Payables and Supplier Management. The candidate is also
required to have five or more years in consulting, designing, and
implementing Oracle application-based solutions, including:Serving
as a functional/technical expert in Oracle EBS applications
deployed in financials modules (AP, AR, CM, GL, Fixed Assets, and
Project Accounting Assisting in the definition of systems strategy,
gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap
analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, conference room
pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user
trainingProviding operational support in Oracle EBS Federal
Financial modules dailyTroubleshooting and resolving technical
issues reported by users in General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing,
and Receivables modulesAssisting the client in closing the books
every month and resolving any interface issues that prevent the
closing of the booksAssisting in reconciling General Ledger (GL)
and Sub Ledgers (SL). Troubleshoot and resolve any variances
between GL and SLAssisting the client in quarter-end and year-end
activities. Develop ad hoc reports as needed to assist the client
in responding to audit queriesPerforming the system testing of the
custom enhancements. Perform peer code review and ensure proper
quality standardsDeveloping the unit test scripts and coordinating
with the client to perform the User Acceptance Testing of the
system enhancements or custom solutionsEnsuring processes
confirming AP departmental controls and departmental analytics are
being doneActively participating in internal and external
auditsAssisting in completing audit requestsPreparing monthly
management reports and analysis, which includes ad-hoc, one-time
requestsAssisting in the evaluation, modification, & implementation
of policies and proceduresLearning new technologies and its
application to businessWhat You Will Need: -Minimum Years of
Experience: 5Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree from an
accredited college or universitySkills:Strong technical skills in
SQL, PL/SQL, Interfaces and Conversions, Oracle Reports, Oracle
Forms, Discoverer Reports, XML-Publisher Reports, PL/SQL Reports,
Application Object Library (AOL), Oracle WorkflowOracle E-Business
Suite expertise in accounting, including development of
personalization and custom reportsExperience in supporting
front-end development teams in an Oracle, OBIEE, and custom
application environmentExcellent communication and collaboration
skills with business and technical stakeholdersExperience with
functional requirements, design, test, training, deployment
support, and production supportExcellent problem-solving skills and
strong attention to detailKnowledge in software quality and
development best practicesWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Prior
professional services or federal consulting experienceProven
experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and
work objectivesStrong oral and written communication skills,
including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)The annual
salary range for this position is $86,100.00-$172,300.00.
