Overview: The Storage & Issue Lead (Mid-Level) is tasked with providing support to operations that require handling and delivery of materials. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day contractual and programmatic management of the contract and all task orders.
    • Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and delivery of materiel.
      • Initiate inputs to add or delete warehouse location.
        • Ensure all personnel responsible for storage of 1.4 Class ammunition and hazardous materiel are thoroughly familiar and comply with safety provisions.
          • Prepare items for storage using Government furnished materiel. Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and supervise a multifunctional team Advise and assist Client and Project Managers with planning, programing, budgeting, and executing project schedules. Education and/or Experience:
            • One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
            • Ten (10) years of related work experience qualifying for the respective position and possession of a High School diploma, or five (5) years of related work experience qualifying for the respective position and possession of a relevant Associate's college/university degree. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
              • Must possess knowledge of the Federal/DoD Supply System, and MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP procedures.
                • Must be familiar with DoD supply principles, processes, and terminology and skilled in scheduling, manifesting, document control and customer research. Must have knowledge of property accounting requirements as outlined in DoD 5000.64, Accountability and Management of DoD Equipment and Other Accountable Property and DoD 7000.14-R, Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR) Financial Management Regulation, to include how to account for lost, damaged and destroyed property.
                  • Experience with use of the Agency's Financial Accounting Corporate Tracking System's (FACTS) Asset Management (AM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules (FACTS AM/SCM). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid U.S. Driver's license. Must have a valid U.S. Passport. Must be certified annually on MHE available at the employee's site. Individuals located at select sites must be licensed to operate all GSA vehicles (including those requiring a commercial driver's license (CDL) assigned to the site. At a minimum must possess HAZMAT certifications to support movement of 1.4 class ammunition and hazardous materials. Pass customer specific training and certifications. Security Clearance: TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Access Required
                    • Must have a current US Government TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance and be able to qualify for SCI access
                      • Must have a current US Government Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (less than 4-1/2 years old) or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Single Scope Background Investigation.
                        • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
                          • Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be capable of repeated bending, kneeling, and squatting; and capable of lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted) and be equipped each day with standard personal protective equipment (i.e., steel toed shoes, etc.). Employee must be able to withstand heights of about 25ft or higher while utilizing certain MHE. Work Environment: Individual will operate between warehouse industrial environments and office environments. Extensive travel not anticipated, but individuals located at deployed contingency sites must continuously meet the deployment criteria for the deployed theater IAW the Theater Commander's requirements. Individuals located at DIA's NCR locations must be ready to deploy to support contingency and overseas locations by entering DIA's Readiness Program. Develop and build relationships with logistics management counterparts within parent organization as well as with external organizations facilitating the coordination of various logistical support projects
