Job Description At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better placeFrom the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared valuesWe're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growthFind your future with usBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Custodian/Janitor to support our 2nd Shift business in the Chantilly, VAareaThe candidate will work under a lead custodian, but must be able to complete tasks without supervisionPosition Responsibilities: --- Manage all assigned activities as they pertain to the cleanliness of a customer facility --- Daily cleaning of caf--, restrooms, fitness center, fitness machines and water fountains --- Daily empties trash and moves it to the on-site dumpsterDaily vacuums floors and carpets --- Daily damp mops/cleans VCT and other hard surface flooring --- Spot cleans carpets and floorsPeriodic waxing/deep cleaning floors as necessary --- Cleans up spills as needed --- Cleans/dusts blinds, windows, baseboards and interior glass windows --- Phased cleaning approach to customer zones as required --- Responsible for routinely checking the exterior grounds and ensuring all trash and debris is collected and disposed --- Assist other facility personnel with setting up and taking down of tables and chairs to support customer events --- May also be required at times to assist facility personnel with minor construction and O&M tasks This position is expected to be 100% onsiteThe selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location optionsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.SSecurity Clearance for which the U.SGovernment requires U.SCitizenshipA final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.SSecurity Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph Pre-Start is requiredSecurity Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this positionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):--- 3+ years custodian/janitorial experience
* Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis
