JOB TITLE: Adelphia Dean of Men
PAY: $20.00-$22.00/hour, DOE
REPORTS TO: Adelphia Program Director
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
To model the life of a mature and growing believer and exemplify submission to the Word of God in both professional and private life. The Dean of Men provides Christ-centered mentorship in dorm life, student life, and work internships to maximize the student experience and cultivate an intentional community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mentoring young men as disciples of Jesus
  
• Meet with 1-2 students one-on-one weekly
  
• Communicate biblical truth clearly and effectively
  
• Plan and participate in bi-weekly student life events
  
• Manage student life budget, including event spending and RA allowances
  
• Oversee dorm facilities and other student spaces
  
• Assist in dorm/student life conflicts
  
• Serve as liaison between students and Lake Retreat staff
  
• Conduct student work evaluations
  
• Participate in student work-study in areas like kitchen, housekeeping, and groundskeeping
  
• Work in a Christian camp ministry environment
  
• Oversee Resident Assistant (RA) training and programming
  
• Model hospitality by hosting weekly family group dinners
  
• Be available for students' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
  
• Communicate student information to the program director
  
• Help enforce handbook policies and procedures
  
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Supportive of Christian camp ministries
  
• Effective communication of biblical truth
  
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
  
• Organizational skills for managing budgets
  
• Ability to drive larger vehicles, including a 12-passenger van
  
  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  

• 
  
• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• Preferably 1+ years of biblical training or ministry experience
